No matter how much money you spend on skincare products, these products are less effective if you don't keep your face clean.
Dirt and bacteria, to which we're all subjected every day, and even makeup residue can clog pores and make your skin look dull and lifeless.
Cleaning away these toxins is imperative. Obviously, simple washing will at least address the problem, but it's not as effective nor as thorough.
Olay's Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System is a better idea.
The brushes are incredibly soft, its soft (replaceable) brush cleans gently but completely, giving your face a pleasant massage in the process. As for the two speeds, I don't see a huge difference in the two.
The first, slightly slower speed might be better when using the exfoliating cleanser, and the faster one for just regular daily cleansers.
Use it once a day, you can even use it in the shower or not; it works efficiently either way.

K so I have had skin issues on and off since high school but lately have been suffering from persistent cystic acne breakouts that would not go away…. I tried everything u can think of proactiv, oil cleansing method, dermalogica (which worked the best of them all) along with countless store brand face washes but when I read the reviews on these microdermabrasion face brushes I started looking at the various brands..the clarisonic had good reviews but i wanted to ease my way into it, so the next best thing was the pro x and it worked perfectly at 1/10th the price:-0. I to date have not had one breakout since I have been using it ( 4 months n going strong), my old acne scars are quickly going away and it really does get out all the grime & make up that normal face washing leaves behind. The only issue I had was getting the back off to put the batteries in… its very tight to avoid moisture seeping inside but apart from that I haven’t had to change the batteries yet and it works like a dream. The only improvement I would suggest is making the head a bit more secure as it is easy to come off since it is replaceable but sometimes it slips off if you arent holding it correctly and put your fingers under the head. Needless to say this brush is gonna be gifted to a ton of my friends and family this xmas!!! Uber happy with this product.

Though cheaper than the Clarisonic, you’re getting what you pay for. This brush simply spins which serves mostly only to move stuff around on the surface of the skin. There is relatively little actual cleaning. This also feels very abrasive. The Clarisonic vibrates at a high frequency which cleans better. Also, it has a very strong massage feel to it, which I like even better than the cleaning action – it’s incredible. Yes, it does cost WAY more (like $119+) but it’s totally worth it. Try it and you’ll think the price is cheap. Also, it’s a much higher quality product in look and feel, is available in different colors and patterns, and there are no replaceable batteries.
